Does Madrid have a tourist pass?

The Madrid City Card is Madrid City Council's official tourist card, designed to help visitors enjoy the full city experience.

It offers activities, benefits and discounts at the city's main tourist, cultural and leisure attractions, and also includes Madrid Regional Transport Consortium's (CRTM) Tourist Travel Pass, which allows visitors to use the entire public Metro, local bus and Cercanías train network in zone A during the chosen timeframe.

Key benefits include discounts on museums, exhibitions and cultural activities, Fast Pass or skip-the-line entrance to some of the main attractions and other exclusive benefits at affiliated establishments.

The Madrid City Card can be purchased for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 consecutive days, for both adults and children. Prices vary according to duration: €10 for 1 day, €17 for 2 days, €22.50 for 3 days, €27 for 4 days and €32.50 for 5 days (VAT included). In addition, children under the age of 11 get a 50% discount, while children under the age of 4 do not need the card to enjoy its benefits or use public transport.

The Madrid City Card can be purchased at the Plaza Mayor Tourist Information Centre and at the tourist information points at Callao, the Royal Palace, Paseo del Prado, CentroCentro, the Bernabéu, the Reina Sofía Museum and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (T2 and T4), allowing you to start your Madrid experience from the very first moment of your stay. 

It's very easy to use: simply show the card at affiliated establishments to enjoy the benefits and discounts it offers.
